Rules and Regulations

Here you will find all regulations and rules for the study of medicine in Düsseldorf. These are coordinated with the nationwide uniform regulations specified by the Approbationsordnung für Ärzte (Approbation Regulations for Doctors).

The Approbationsordnung (ÄApprO 2002), issued by the Federal Ministry of Health, regulates admission to the medical profession and establishes uniform criteria for training.

Curriculum

The Düsseldorf Curriculum Medicine is regulated in detail by its study and examination regulations. They define the study contents, the course of study as well as the examination requirements and the examination procedure. Legal information on the individual examinations can be found in the examination regulations for the corresponding study section. Standard course of study

For all those who have already started their medical studies in Düsseldorf before the winter semester 2013/14 and are still studying in the regular study program, the study regulations listed below as well as the corresponding examination regulations for the study years 3 - 5 apply. In addition, we provide you here with an overview of the question and point distribution in the block final examinations of the 4th and 5th study year.
