Universität Düsseldorf: CIY at Academic Teaching Clinics

In addition to the UKD, you also have the opportunity to complete your clinical internship year or individual tertials at the academic teaching hospitals at HHU. These external hospitals have been accredited by the Medical Faculty of HHU and fulfill all the requirements stipulated by the Approbationsordnung für Ärzte (licensing regulations for physicians). The PJ training in the academic teaching hospitals is also designed to be competency-oriented, aligned with the Superordinate Düsseldorf Learning Goals for this stage of study, and takes into account the guideline for the clinical internship training of medical students during the 3rd qualification stage (Q3) or the internship year.

In the Academic Teaching Hospitals you can take the (compulsory) tertials Surgery and Internal Medicine as well as electives.
