Patient Internship 3
Taking a practicum takes place in HIS-LSF at the end of the winter semester for Track 3.2 students and at the end of the summer semester for Track 3.1 students:

Within the enrollment period, all 3rd year students who will be completing Patient Practicum 3 (PP3) in the upcoming semester will select a practicum site.
Important: Each major group of 3rd year students is assigned a set time period within the semester to participate in PP3. Please refer to your track's schedule online for PP3's assignment to semester weeks. Please note that you can only take PP3 places in the period assigned to your small group! (Example: You are in small group 1. You choose a practice in HIS-LSF in the course "Phase 2: PP3 - Term D (small groups 1-13)").
The occupancy of the patient internship PP3 is divided into 2 phases:
Enrollment deadline: April 06 - 07, 2021
Only students who wish to take PP3 in the same practice as PP1 and/or PP2 will take PP3 in Phase 1. This assumes that the practice from PP1 and/or PP2 also offers a placement in the period assigned to you for PP3.
Important: After the deadline for phase 1, ifam will check whether you have already completed PP1 and/or PP2 at the selected practice. If not, your registration will be cancelled! In this case, you will have to participate in phase 2 again. You will not be informed separately about the cancellation.
Occupancy is on a first-come, first-served basis: if a practice is already occupied, you will not be able to select it.
At the end of your booking process, please check under "My events" whether your booking was successful.
Enrollment deadline: April 12-14, 2021.
In Phase 2, all students who did not take a practicum in Phase 1 or whose enrollment was cancelled may take a practicum. Please note that you can only take a practicum during the period assigned to your small group.
Assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis: if a practice is already assigned, you will not be able to select it.
At the end of your booking process, please check under "My events" whether your booking was successful.
Students with Special Circumstances
Students in special life situations (pregnant women and students with children, students with relatives in need of care, seriously/chronically ill or students with disabilities) who need support in planning their patient internship 3 are asked to register (send e-mail) by e-mail to the online booking of the Dean of Studies Office no later than March 31, 2021 (12 noon). In the email, please indicate the time period (date) you have been assigned for the internship according to the class schedule and list three practices (available during your assigned date) where you would prefer to complete your internship. To simplify the process, please already attach all necessary proof (e.g. birth certificate or a certificate from the supervising physician) to the e-mail. For an overview of the teaching practices that offer an internship in the date assigned to your large group, please refer to the respective event in HIS-LSF.
