Events for Prospective Students

Throughout the year, we offer various event formats for students and prospective students. There you can learn more about studying at the Faculty of Medicine in Düsseldorf and get a direct insight into the study contents.

Study Orientation Week

Every year in January, Heinrich Heine University holds its Study Orientation Week.

On the day of the Medical Faculty you have the opportunity to inform yourself comprehensively about the study of medicine in our lectures and can ask specific questions at the counseling booths to the contact persons from the Dean of Studies and to medical students from the student council.

The next study orientation week will take place from January 13 to 17, 2025. The day of the Faculty of Medicine is on January 17, 2025.

University Information Day

With the University Information Day, Heinrich Heine University, together with the Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, offers an extensive fair for prospective students with information about studying in Düsseldorf.

The Faculty of Medicine is also represented at the information fair with advice stands, lectures on the Düsseldorf medical curriculum and guided tours of the most important facilities for medical students on campus.

The next University Information Day will take place on June 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Student Ring Lecture

Our student ring lecture "Aspects of Medical Research" for students from the surrounding area who are interested in medicine offers exciting lectures on medical topics and at the same time the opportunity to get a taste of campus air and learn the first medical skills. 

The lecture starts every year in the winter semester and extends over a total of seven dates, which take place on Saturday mornings on the campus of the Heinrich Heine University.
