Circulatory System and Blood (TB 6)

This block of topics focuses on the functions of "Circulatory System and Blood" for the organism and the regulation of the cardiovascular system. We address the causes and processes of relevant diseases such as coagulation disorders, myocardial infarction, hemophilia, hypertension, shock and valvular diseases.

In this block, too, various specialties are interlinked. Especially in the development of blood, heart and circulatory diseases, psychological factors such as stress often play a role. We will therefore partly deal with elements from medical psychology. In addition, the subjects of physics and physiology as well as the Clinical Training Course intertwine thematically, so that the students acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in interaction.
